Stress Management always begins with the breath. The mind and body are connected, what affects one, affects the other. You have the power within you to activate the calming systems within your body. Relaxation techniques including breath awareness, progressive muscle relaxation and visualization help to reduce stress, provide self-control and enforce wellness. Relaxation techniques are easy to learn and do but they require practice and commitment to be effective.
Stress has become a way of life in our society. Some stress in life isn't avoidable, some is. Some stress is actually good stress, motivating us to get things done, however, excessive stress limits performance and blocks decision making.
In this CD program I give you options to deal with stress in your life. You can choose a track to suit your needs. Relaxation techniques are easy to learn and do, however, they require practice and commitment to be effective.
On track 2 you will learn a breath awareness technique that you can use anytime, anywhere. You always have your breath with you. This is a wonderful tool for work or home - whenever you feel overwhelmed or overworked or if you just need a quick break.
On track 3 you will experience a progressive relaxation. In this program you are guided to slowly relax your whole body, to just let go and release all the stress and tension. Choose this track whenever you have 12 minutes to regroup, refresh and renew yourself. The benefits are priceless.
On track 4 you will experience a wonderful relaxing guided visualization. In this session you will have the opportunity to transform all your negative, stress-creating fears, worries and frustrations into positive energy. This visualization helps to reduce stress, provide self-control and affirm wellness.
